Lazy Andreas was born on April 30 1982 in Thessaloniki, N. (Greece). Since 2006 he works in web sites productions, for indipendent projects and clients all over Greece. Website design is only as good as the leads it generates and sales it brings in. He knows—he's in business too. The custom web and print design solutions he creates for you aren’t just pretty faces, they help deliver results.
As you’ve probably noticed, I’m a Film Geek… I’m heavily into Directors and their works and I’m always interested in what Directors people tend to like.
My favourites are Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, David Cronenberg, Terry Gilliam, Alfred Hitchcock, Ken Russell, Gaspar Noe, Andrei Tarkovsky, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Kenneth Anger, Francis Ford Coppola.
The wonderful group from Liverpool – John, Paul, George and Ringo – The Beatles, is in my opinion one of the best things that have happened in music in the twentieth century.
I also love The Velvet Underground, The Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, The Clash, Sonic Youth, Steely Dan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Ramones, Misfits and so many others…
I came up with a list of 8 books that I consider must-reads from both contemporary and classic literature.
To Kill a Mockingbird (Harper Lee), The Great Gatsby (F. Scott Fitzgerald), Emma (Jane Austen), Jane Eyre (Charlotte Bronte), 1984 (George Orwell), Fahrenheit 451 (Ray Bradbury), Catch-22 (Joseph Heller), Cloud Atlas (David Mitchell).
As a photographer, I like to question everything. I like to understand how things work, why they are how they are, and how it affects what I do.
One of my latest ponderings really got me thinking, so I ran it past US based photographer Chase Jarvis for his opinion. Not only did he have his own take, but he also felt compelled to post the question on his blog.
I have a dream…
I have a dream that one day down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification – one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.
This is our hope. This is the faith that I go back to the South with. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.
This will be the day, this will be the day when all of God’s children will be able to sing with new meaning “My country ’tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my father’s died, land of the Pilgrim’s pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring!”
Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech
I decline to accept the end of man. It is easy enough to say that man is immortal because he will endure: that when the last ding-dong of doom has clanged and faded from the last worthless rock hanging tideless in the last red and dying evening, that even then there will still be one more sound: that of his puny inexhaustible voice, still talking. I refuse to accept this. I believe that man will not merely endure: he will prevail. He is immortal, not because he alone among creatures has an inexhaustible voice, but because he has a soul, a spirit capable of compassion and sacrifice and endurance. The poet’s, the writer’s, duty is to write about these things. It is his privilege to help man endure by lifting his heart, by reminding him of the courage and honor and hope and pride and compassion and pity and sacrifice which have been the glory of his past. The poet’s voice need not merely be the record of man, it can be one of the props, the pillars to help him endure and prevail.
I believe that in the history of the world, there has not been a more genuinely democratic struggle for freedom than ours. I read Carlyle’s French Resolution while I was in prison, and Pandit Jawaharlal has told me something about the Russian revolution. But it is my conviction that inasmuch as these struggles were fought with the weapon of violence they failed to realize the democratic ideal. In the democracy which I have envisaged, a democracy established by non-violence, there will be equal freedom for all. Everybody will be his own master. It is to join a struggle for such democracy that I invite you today. Once you realize this you will forget the differences between the Hindus and Muslims, and think of yourselves as Indians only, engaged in the common struggle for independence.
Stay Hungry – Stay Foolish
No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

About this Blog // Music was my first love. I like many music genres, but my favourites are punk rock, garage and indie music. Anyway, my most genuine passion, the one that eventually took over the others has been and still is cinema. During the last year I found out an other great love: Photography. Finally, there's literature. I never go to sleep before having read some pages of some book.
Continue reading

It’s rare nowadays to find a web designer who can’t code his own designs. With so many resources online and in print that teach the basics of HTML and CSS, and due to the fact that these languages aren’t rocket science, there are now a lot of graphic designers who have at least basic knowledge of markup and styling.
But with an HTML and CSS foundation comes great responsibility. If an HTML or CSS feature doesn’t work in certain browsers, we need to ensure that we offer those browsers a secondary or fallback experience. Continue reading
This trend certainly doesn’t affect the overall web design, but as for user experience and content presentation infographics have blown the roof off new-age media. Never before has information been presented in such an easy-to-consume manner. Even if you barely understand the topic most infographics provide data, charts, and supporting imagery so that a 5 year old child could follow along Continue reading
